Chilli potato is one of the most likes chilli dish from indo-chinese cuisine.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Potatoes 5-6 large size
  2. Capsicum - 2
  3. Onion(s) - 1 or 2
  4. Corn flour - 1 tbspn
  5. Tomato ketchup - 4 tbspn
  6. Green chilli sauce - 3 tbspn
  7. Soya sauce - 3 tbspn
  8. Vinegar - 3 tbspn
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Black pepper - 1 tbspn
  11. Red chilli flakes - 1 tbspn

Instructions

  1. For french fries :- please check my french fries recipe For chilli potatoes recipe:- Slice onions and capsicum roughly in large slices.In a pan take 4 tbspn of olive oil and saute onions for 2 minutes. In high flame.
  2. Then add capsicum in the pan and cook it for about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add tomato ketchup, green chilli sauce, soya sauce and vinegar in the pan. At the same time add salt , black pepper and red chilli flakes.
  4. In another bowl take 1 tbspn of corn flour and 5 tbspn of water and mix it. Add this mixture in the pan.
  5. Cover the pan and let it cook in medium flame for about 5-6 min.
  6. Add you fries in the pan and gently cover the potatoes in the sauce. cook it for just a minute or two and it's ready to serve.
