Ingredients to make Schezwan Chilli Potato

  • For schezwan sauce:
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Red chillies
  • chilli flakes
  • salt
  • White vinegar
  • Soya sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • For chilli Potato:
  • 2 potato
  • 1 big onion
  • 1 capsicum
  • 4-5 Beans sticks
  • oil for frying and stir fry
  • salt
  • chilli powder
  • vinegar
  • Soya sauce

How to make Schezwan Chilli Potato

  1. Schezwan Sauce
  2. Boil the tomatoes in a pan. Peel them and grind them. Sieve the puree.
  3. Add 2 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic cloves in it. Keep stirring on low flame till they turn golden.
  4. Add tomato puree to it. Keep stirring for 5 minutes.
  5. Add salt and chili powder to it. Now add chopped red chilies to it.
  6. At last, add vinegar and soya sauce to it. Stir for 5 minutes. Allow it to cool.
  7. Now chop the potatoes. Deep fry them in oil.
  8. In a separate pan, add one tablespoon oil and the chopped onions. Keep stirring until they turn golden.
  9. Now add chopped beans and capsicum. Keep stirring it for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Now add salt, chilli powder and soya sauce, followed by vinegar.
  11. At last, add 4-5 tablespoon schezwan sauce to it. Keep stirring it for 3-4 minutes. Turn off the flame.
  12. Serve it with chilli vinegar, mustard sauce and schezwan sauce.

My Tip:

I served it with mustard sauce base and schezwan sauce. In the side, I placed a boiled potato spiral tossed in salt and chilly.
