About Meethi sevai Recipe

All time favourite dessert. This is not typically liquid in texture as kheer. It is creamy and quick to make.

Meethi sevai

Ingredients to make Meethi sevai

  • 200 gm sevai
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • Few dry fruits
  • 2 cloves
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 litre milk.
  • A pinch cardamom powder

How to make Meethi sevai

  1. Put milk into boil on a slow flame
  2. Meanwhile heat ghee in a deep vessel.
  3. Add 2 cloves, then add sevai and roast till golden. Stirring continuously
  4. Slowly add the boiled milk. Stir gently. Cook on low flame for 2 to 3 min. As it starts boiling
  5. Add dry fruits. Mix well. Cook for 2 min
  6. Now add cardamom powder. Mix well. Cook for 3 to 4 min. Till desired consistency
  7. Remove from flame. Serve it hot, or chilled
  8. Keep in room temperature for cooling.
  9. Garnish with almonds n raisins.
