ABOUT Pickled paneer RECIPE

This is the chinese cum indian dinner special dish served with rice

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour 1 cup
  2. Cornflour 3tbsp
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Ajinomoto 1 tsp
  5. Black Pepper 1 tsp
  6. Ginger grated 1 tsp
  7. Garlic grated 1 tsp
  8. Light Soya sauce 1/2 tsp
  9. Vinegar 2 tbsp
  10. Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  11. Milk 1/2 cup
  12. Paneer cubes 1/2 kg
  13. Onions sliced 2
  14. Capsicum sliced 1
  15. Tomato sauce 3 tbsp
  16. Soya sauce 1 tsp
  17. Vinegar 2 tbsp
  18. Water 1 cup
  19. Cornflour paste 2 tbsp
  20. Salt 1 tsp
  21. Kashmiri mirch 2
  22. Sugar 1 tsp
  23. Black Pepper 1 tsp
  24. Degi mirch 1 tsp
  25. Oil 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. For marination of paneer
  2. In a bowl , add maida, corn flour , soya sauce, ginger, garlic , salt , pepper, ajinomoto
  3. Add vinegar, baking powder and cold milk
  4. Make a paste so that there are no lumps
  5. Add paneer and mix well.
  6. Leave it under fan for half hour
  7. After half hour deep fry the paneer and keep aside
  8. Now in a separate pan , add oil 1 tsp, lighlt fry the kashmiri mirch make sure it does not burn.
  9. Then add onions and saute for a min
  10. Remove from fire and add degi mirch and keep back on fire
  11. Then add , soya sauce, vinegar , ketchup and water mix it well
  12. Give it a good boil
  13. Saute the capsicum in separate pan with pinch of salt and keep aside
  14. At the time of serving
  15. Heat the sauce and add capsicum, and fried paneer
  16. Let it cook for a min and then add cornflour mix with water in it . Keep stirring while adding cornflour
  17. Taste and balance the salt
  18. Garnish with coriander leaves and white til.
  19. Serve hot with plain rice
