It's a famous traditional bengali recipe from kolkata.it is served mainly with aloordam but can ve served with any other curry also.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For filling
  2. 1cup frozen peas
  3. 1/2inch ginger
  4. chilli 1
  5. 1pinch hing
  6. 1tsp sugar
  7. Salt to taste
  8. For dough
  9. 1cup maida
  10. 1tbsp oil
  11. Water as needed
  12. Salt 1pinch
  13. Oil for frying kochuri


  1. Dough Mix all the ingredients and make a dough.keep it aside.
  2. Filling Make a paste with all the ingredients.
  3. Heat oil in a pan,Add the mixture and saute till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  4. Now divide the dough into small balls.place the mixture in every balls. Roll out as thin as possible.
  5. Heat oil for deep frying and fry it from both sides.
  6. Now it's ready to served with aloor dom.
