Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Almond 1 cup
  2. sugar 1 cup
  3. Milk 1 cup
  4. ghee 1/2 cup
  5. Cardamom a pinch
  6. Saffron a pinch

Instructions

  1. Soak almond for 30 minutes in hot water or 4 hours in normal water and peel the skin
  2. Soak few strands of saffron in milk for enriching colour
  3. Grind the almond by adding milk
  4. Make it to a thick paste and it need not to be a fine paste.
  5. Add ghee in a pan and pour this paste of almond in it
  6. Add sugar and stir well without any lumps
  7. Add Saffron milk to enrich the colour of almond halwa
  8. Stir well until it gets thicken and finally add cardamon
  9. Serve it hot or cold
