Ingredients to make Restaurent style Chicken Masala...

  • Finely chopped onion...2
  • garlic...10
  • ginger paste...1tspn
  • tomato...2
  • Green chilli paste...2tspn
  • Kashmiri red chilli ...4
  • Dry Red chilli...4
  • Cocunut powder...2tspn
  • poppy seeds...2tspn
  • turmeric powder...1tspn
  • cumin seeds...1tspn
  • coriander seeds...1tspn
  • curry leaves...10
  • bay leaves...3
  • cinnamon stick...1"
  • Black cardamom...1
  • Garam masala...1/2tspn
  • salt to taste

How to make Restaurent style Chicken Masala...

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, curd & red chilli powder. Marinate it for 1hour.
  2. Now boil kashmiri red chilli, red chilli, & tomato.After boil make a smooth paste of it.
  3. Soak poppy seeds & coconut powder in 4tspn water for 10 minutes & then make a paste of it.
  4. Dry roast the bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cumin seeds, coriander seeds & curry leaves.Make a powder of it.
  5. Heat oil & fry the marinated chicken till it get brownish texture.Take out then.
  6. Now add finely chopped onion , chopped garlic & ginger paste in the same oil.Saute it for few minutes.
  7. Then add chilli_tomato paste.
  8. Add poppy seeds_coconut powder paste & powder spices.
  9. Now add marinated fried chicken pieces & salt.
  10. Add turmeric powder & garam masala.Cook it without adding water.
  11. When the chicken is tender, add 2cup of hot water & cook it more 5 minutes.
  12. Adjust salt & gravy & switch off the flame.Serve it hot with chapati or naan.
