Non veg recipe famous in Northern india. A spicy chicken curry..served with roti nan or rice.. .

Ingredients to make Masala chicken..(Resturant style)punjabi cuisine

  • One kg chicken with bones
  • For marination.. curd 2tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric 1/2tsp
  • chicken masala/tandoori masala 1tsp
  • Schejwan sauce 1tsp
  • ginger galic paste 2tsp
  • For gravy... onion midiun size sliced 3
  • tomato 3midium size
  • Desi ghee/oil 2-3tsp
  • Galic chopped 7-8cloves
  • ginger 1/2 inch chopped
  • green chilly 1-2
  • lauki half chopped
  • carrot 1 optional
  • Green capsicum 1
  • For spicy masala dry indgridients
  • Cloves black pepper green cardimon cinnamon stick and bay leaf
  • Oil /ghee for tempring 2-3tsp
  • water as required

How to make Masala chicken..(Resturant style)punjabi cuisine

  1. First wash and mrinate chicken with curd salt turmeric redchilly schejwan sauce chicken masak and mix it well and rub on chicken and set aside for 1-2hous
  2. Dry roast the dry indrgidients and make powder
  3. Now in a kdhai/wok heat ghee and saute sliced onion till golden brown
  4. Take onion and tomatoes and puree them
  5. Now add one tsp oil and saute green veg for five min and add all spices in it
  6. Add little water to soften veg and cover yhe lid
  7. Now blend the veg in a smooth paste..now u have two types of puree onion and tomato and veg puree
  8. Add 1tsp ghee and saute marinated chicken for five min and then add both puree in it and add suffcient water to chicken till it soften and cover the lid for10-15min
  9. Masaa chicken is ready to serve garnish it qith coriander leaves

My Tip:

U can use desi ghee oil or butter for tempring.. And add green capsicum chooped at last.. Not make puree of it
