Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Leftover rice 1 cup
  2. Curry leaves one hand full
  3. Salt
  4. Oil 2 tablespoon
  5. Onion 1
  6. Chana dal one tablespoon
  7. Urad dal one tablespoon
  8. mustard seeds half tablespoon
  9. Cumin seeds half tablespoon
  10. Red Chillies 2
  11. Curry leaves
  12. Asafoetida one pinch


  1. Heat one tbsp oil in a pan add chana dal urad dal cumin seeds Red Chillies asafoetida and fry it for 2 minutes
  2. Cool the mixture and grind to make a fine powder
  3. Heat one tbsp oil in a pan add mustard seeds chopped onion curry leaves and grounded powder and which of the flame
  4. Then add leftover rice salt and mix well
  5. Serve with coconut thogayal
