We always have some leftover breads in our pantry. So many different options are there to give regular leftover bread interesting makeover. Here I make some bread rolls or cigars with leftover bread. They are very simple to make yet very tasty. Specially kids love to have these.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 8 pieces leftover slice bread
  2. 3 tablespoon unsalted melted butter
  3. 2 tablespoon custer sugar
  4. 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  5. Greek yogurt or hung curd for stuffing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 170 degree Centigrade for 10 minutes
  2. Take bread pieces and trim the sides.
  3. With the help of a rolling pin, roll each slice gently to make the bread pieces thin.
  4. In a plate pour melted butter.
  5. In another plate take sugar and cinnamon powder and mix.
  6. Take one bread piece spread some hung curd or Greek yogurt.
  7. Roll tightly starting from your side to make a cigar type shape.
  8. Dip the roll in the melted butter.
  9. Take out and roll immediately in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  10. Place it in a baking tray or pan. Place the edge side at the bottom.
  11. Like this make all the cigar rolls.You can also make some rolls with chocolate sauce stuffing.
  12. Bake them in the oven for 10-15 minutes till they become brown and crisp.
  13. Take out from oven. Let them rest for 10 minutes and enjoy.
