Leftover idly converted to keema idly.. this keema idly i tired few times in hotel saravana bhavan.. just i tried it using my leftover idlies.. it came out well..

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Left over idlies - 5
  2. Chopped Onion - 1 cup
  3. Chopped tomatoes - 1cup
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
  5. Grated carrot - 3 tsp
  6. Chopped capsicum - 2 tsp
  7. Tomato ketchup - 1 tsp
  8. Corainder leaves - 2tsp
  9. Chilli powder - 1tsp
  10. Corainder powder - 2tsp
  11. Salt - as required
  12. Oil - 3tbs

Instructions

  1. Cut the idlies in to cubes and do shallow fry in a dosa tawa. Keep it aside
  2. Heat pan and add oil along with onions.. then gingergarlic paste and roast till the raw smell goes.
  3. Add tomatoes and saute well.. then add grated carrots and capsicum stir well
  4. Now add salt, chilli powder and corainder powder and stir continuously...
  5. Then add fried idlies and stir well
  6. Finally add tomato ketchup and corainder leaves... stir it for few minutes.. serve it with tomato sauce..
