Bitter Gourd (karela) stuffed with delicious keema sabzi

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bitter gourd 5 pcs
  2. Keema 250 gms
  3. Onions 2
  4. Ginger 1" pcs
  5. Garlic 4 pcs
  6. Green chillies 4
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Meat masala 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  11. Onions 2

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle salt on bitter gourd and keep it aside for 30 mins. This finishes the bitter taste of bitter gourd.
  2. On the other side, chop onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies for keema sabzi.
  3. In a pan, put some oil. Add chopped mixture to it.
  4. When onions become soft, add salt, red chilli powder, meat masala and garam masala to it.
  5. Now add keema to the pan. Keep it on medium flame till it becomes soft and cooked.
  6. Now turn off the flame and let it cool.
  7. Now wash the bitter gourd well and take off its seeds.
  8. Deep fry them in a pan.
  9. Once fried, keep it aside for cooling.
  10. Now stuff the bitter gourd with keema sabzi and tie it with thread.
  11. After all pieces are stuffed, in a separate pan, add some oil and onions.
  12. Once the onions become soft, add keema karela to it and keep it on medium flame.
  13. After 5-10 mins, switch off the flame and your keema karela is ready to be served with chapati or naan.
