Karela qeema

Ingredients to make Karela qeema

  • Mutton qeema. . . 250grm
  • Thin cut Karela. 500grm
  • onion. 500grm
  • ginger garlic paste. 2spoon
  • red chilli powder 1/2 spoon or as per your taste
  • kalonji(nigella seeds) 1tea spoon
  • salt. As per to your taste
  • Badi or choti elaichi. 2/3
  • Laung. 3/4
  • Garam masala. 1tsp
  • mustard oil. 3/4cup

How to make Karela qeema

  1. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker than add choti, Badi elaichi and Laung,after that add finally cut onion and fry it .
  2. when it's become translucent than add ginger garlic paste, Salt, Dhania powder , red chilli powder and fry it 1-2minutes than add qeema and again fry till oil separates.
  3. Then add 1/2 cup water and close the cooker lid. Cook qeema for 15-20minutes. Until qeema is cooking than we have to fry the Karela little bit in a oil.
  4. Fry till it become little crispy.afterthat put this Karela And Kalonji (nigella seeds) in qeema and fry 1-2minutes, adjust the water.
  5. close the lid of cooker and cook it for 15-20min..when qeema Karela cook well and water is not in it than add garam masala powder.now it is ready to serve...

My Tip:

Before cook this recipe I prefer that dry the cut Karela in sunlight for2/3 hour.
