Ingredients to make Quark Waffeln

  • eggs -2
  • Melted butter - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - 7 -8 tbsp
  • all purpose flour - 3 tbsp
  • Whole wheat flour - 4 tbsp
  • sugar - 3 tbsp ( You can also use Brown sugar)
  • Quark or yoghurt - 8 - 9 tbsp

How to make Quark Waffeln

  1. Separate the yolk and the white portion of the eggs.Beat the egg whites for a minute until they turn stiff.
  2. Whisk the Quark, egg yolks, sugar and butter well.
  3. Add the Flour and the Milk and just whisk until there are no lumps.
  4. Add the stiff egg whites to the mixture and slowly whisk until they are mixed.
  5. Heat a waffle iron and grease it with a little oil or butter.
  6. Pour 1/3 of the batter on the iron and bake.Repeat the process two more times.
