Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Red pumpkin 200grams.
  2. Tomatoe 1no.
  3. Onion slices 1/4cup.
  4. Ginger 1"piece.
  5. Garlic cloves 2nos.
  6. Bay leaf 1no.
  7. Cinnamon stick.1"piece.
  8. Salt 1tea spoon.
  9. Cream for garnishing.(optional).
  10. Roasted croutons few.


  1. Peel and cut red pumpkin into cubes.
  2. Heat a sauce pan.add all the ingredients exept cream and croutons.
  3. Add 2cups watet,boil ,simmer the flame to medium and cook covered for 5_6minutes.
  4. After then remove frome stove,discard bay leaf and cinnamon stick.
  5. Blend into a blender to a smooth paste.
  6. Put the padte again into the sauce pan .boil
  7. Add some more water ,if required to get the consistency you desire.
  8. Dish out in soup bawls,garnish with cream and serve with roasted croutons.
  9. Serve hot.
