My Father's way of making biryani

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 3 small katori basmati rice soaked
  2. 100 gm cubes of paneer
  3. 1 chopped onion
  4. Lemon juice
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 tea spoon jeera
  7. CHOPPED DRY FRUITS
  8. Oil for frying
  9. 1 sliced potato
  10. 1 tea spoon Turmeric powder
  11. 1 tea spoon red chili powder
  12. 1 tea spoon black pepper powder
  13. 1/2 Katori soaked peas
  14. Whole spices (Tej patta, cinnamon powder, laung, black pepper, cardmom)
  15. 2 tea spoon biryani masala
  16. 1 split green chilli
  17. 1/2 chopped each green red and yellow capsicum
  18. Sliced tomatoes and mosambi

Instructions

  1. 1)Take one vessel add water and let it boil
  2. 2)Add soaked rice and let it cook
  3. 3)Take kadai put oil and fry paneer cubes till golden brown
  4. 4)Take pan add butter jeera and chopped onion and saute till golden brown
  5. 5)Add whole spices, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and all veggies and let it cook for 10-15 minutes
  6. 6)Add cooked rice and biryani masala
  7. 7))Mix well and cover it for 5-10 minutes
  8. 8)Add lemon juice
  9. 9) Garnish with tomato, pomegranate and slices of mosambi
