A lovely dessert from leftover bread

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 1/2 cups of bread crumbs
  2. 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  3. 2 tbsp icing sugar
  4. 1 tsp butter
  5. 1/2 cup milk of room temperature
  6. 1 tbsp grated dark chocolate
  7. Some butter to grease the tart moulds
  8. FOR THE FILLING
  9. 1 tbsp malai
  10. 1 tbsp condensed milk
  11. 1 tbsp crushed wallnuts
  12. Few drops of vanilla essence
  13. 1/2 tsp chocolate sprinklers

Instructions

  1. Keep all the ingredients at one place like bread crumbs , milk , cocoa powder , icing sugar , dark chocolate , butter and tart mould
  2. In a mixing bowl combine together bread crumbs , cocoa powder , icing sugar , chocolate and butter
  3. Mix them well
  4. Then by adding milk little by little knead a smooth dough , but tight
  5. Now make balls from the dough and roll it into a medium thick roti , and place it in the greased tart mould , by pressing it with your fingers
  6. Make another roti for making strips , by cutting them in equal thickness
  7. They will look like these
  8. Now make the filling with condensed milk , malai and vanilla essence
  9. Now pour the filling in the tart and make mat design with the strips
  10. After making the two tarts make some small balls with the dough by adding some crushed walnuts , arrange the balls in the other tart and garnish with chocolate sprinklers
  11. Now place the ready tarts in the refrigerator for two hours to set
  12. Then take them out and serve chilled
  13. You can keep them for a longer period in the refrigerator , like for 2 days
