Ingredients to make Chilli potatoes

  • Baby potatoes - 1/2 kg
  • soya sauce - 2 tbsp
  • tomato Sauce - 2-3 tbsp
  • garlic, chopped - 2 tbsp
  • vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • coriander , chopped
  • spring onion leaves , chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • A pinch of tandoori color
  • chilli paste - 1 tbsp
  • ajinomoto - 1 tsp
  • cornflour - 1 tsp

How to make Chilli potatoes

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly .Peel n prickly with a fork. Marinate for 3 hrs with soya sauce, vinegar, tomato sauce, oil, salt and white pepper and a pinch of tandoori colour
  2. Steam in a rice cooker preferably until it's cooked tender n well.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and fry 1 tbsp chopped garlic, half a tbsp chilli paste for a while. Add half a tbsp Red Chilli paste with 1/4th cup of water and cook for a minute.
  4. Now add the cooked potatoes with the liquid. Add half a tbsp ajinomoto(Optional)stir on low heat until the sauce dries.
  5. Now garnish it with chopped Coriander and spring onion leaves. If u want it with gravy u can add 1 cup of water with 1 tsp of cornflour.

My Tip:

If you want it in a gravy form you can add 1 cup of water with 1 tsp of cornflour
