Ingredients to make Sharab Tamr Hendi

  • 1/3 cup tamarind
  • 1 glass water
  • 4-5 tbsp sugar (adjust if it is too sour)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 glass water
  • Ice cubes to serve
  • mint for garnish

How to make Sharab Tamr Hendi

  1. Soak tamarind in water for about 2 hours. After 2 hours strain the pulp removing seeds and skin.
  2. In a pan mix together sugar & salt with pulp.Cook till sugar has dissolved.
  3. Cool & refrigerate.
  4. Divide the prepare syrup into two glasses. Add in water & serve chilled with ice cubes and mint.
