About Dal moth Recipe

Dal moth

Ingredients to make Dal moth

  • Moth dal-1 cup
  • 2 tbsp kabuli chana
  • 3 boiled potatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onion
  • 2 green chilli
  • chat masala
  • 2 lemon
  • salt
  • red chilli powder
  • Maggi magic masala/or pav bhaji masala

How to make Dal moth

  1. Sprout the moth dal (sabut moong) and kabuli chana separately. For that you have to immerse them in water overnight and next day hang them in a cloth for at least 24 hours.
  2. As the sprouts come out, steam the moth dal. I steamed moth dal in dhokla maker, do not boil in water directly as the dal will become too soft and moist. Boil the kabuli chana and potatoes.
  3. Now mix moth dal, kabuli chana. cut potato, tomato, cucumber green chilli, onion into small pieces, and mix in dal.
  4. Add salt as per taste, chat masala, red chilli powder, masala, squeeze lemon juice.
  5. You can make it as spicy as you want. Serve.
