The combination of mutton and dry spices, make this dish very tasty and delicious.

Ingredients to make Mutton chilly

  • For marination
  • Partly cooked pieces of mutton 250 gms
  • Corn flour 2tbs
  • curd 1 tbs
  • lemon juice (optional)1 tbs
  • ginger garlic paste 2tbs
  • red chilly powder 2 tbs
  • Dry garam masala 1 tbs
  • salt as per taste
  • For gravy
  • oil 4 tbs
  • Chopped veggies (cabbage,onion,tomato,capcicum)
  • red chilly sauce 3 tbs
  • Dark soya sauce 2 tbs
  • tomato sauce 2 tbs
  • Chopped green chilly 4
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
  • salt as per taste

How to make Mutton chilly

  1. Wash mutton and chop it into small pieces
  2. Parly cooked it then add all the marination ingredient and keep it aside for 2 hours
  3. Heat a heavy bottom kadhai add some oil then add chopped veggies
  4. Fry them till all veggies cook completely
  5. Then add all the gravy ingredient cook it for 2 minute then turn off flame
  6. In another pan heat oil deep fry the marinated mutton pieces and add it in gravy cook it for 1 minute garnish with coriandar leaves and serve hot

My Tip:

If you need extra gravy, make a slurry of red chilli sauce, soya sauce and cornflour. Add the slurry to the dish.
