ABOUT Mutton Chilli RECIPE

A very simple and easy dish that goes well with fried rice and puris.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Mutton cut into cubes- 1 bowl
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Onion chopped- 4
  4. Tomato sauce- 1 tbsp
  5. Soya sauce- 1/2 tbsp
  6. Red chilli sauce- 1/2 tbsp
  7. Corn starch -1 bowl
  8. Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp
  9. Red chilli powder- as per spice taste
  10. Meat masala powder- 1/2 tsp
  11. Green chilli sauce- 1/2 tbsp
  12. Red colour- a pinch
  13. Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
  14. Fried diced capsicum- 1 bowl
  15. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  16. Ginger-Garlic paste- 1 tsp
  17. Green chilli paste- 1 bowl
  18. Mutton stock- 1 bowl
  19. Tomato chopped- 1

Instructions

  1. Take a cooker, add in the mutton cubes, ginger-garlic paste, salt, water and cook till the mutton is tender. Do not throw the water and keep the stock aside.
  2. Take a wok, add oil to heat, then add in the onion and saute well, then add in the tomato and saute. Then add in all the sauce, spices, add the mutton add capsicum. Mix it well and add stock if required.
  3. Bring it to boil, then add in the red colour and corn starch.
  4. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve it hot with fried rice or puris.
