ABOUT Spaghetti Sizzler RECIPE

Spaghetti cooked with seasonal vegetables and a home made tomato purée.A little parmesan over the top. Served it with sautéed blanched veggies makes it even healthier. Our very own spaghetti sizzler is all set to sizzle on the plate.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Spaghetti 1/2 Packet
  2. Water to cook spaghetti with added salt and oil
  3. Mushrooms thickly cut 1/2 bowl
  4. Carrots thickly striped 1/4 bowl
  5. French beans striped 1/4 bowl
  6. Broccoli cut into small florets 1/4 bowl
  7. Black olives sliced 1/4 bowl
  8. Extra virgin olive oil 1tbsp
  9. Oregano 1tsp
  10. Chilly flakes 2 tsp
  11. Tomato 5 big sized
  12. Onion 2 medium sized
  13. Garlic 20 pods finely chopped
  14. Pepper powder a pinch


  1. Boil the spaghetti with enough water. Add salt and little oil to it. Let it cook for 15 mins.Drain and wash in cold water to stop further cooking.
  2. In a pan add a little olive oil.Add chopped garlic.Add all the other vegetables with Italian seasoning, chili flakes.Cook till the vegetables are cooked yet a little crunchy.Add the tomato sauce made for pasta.
  3. For the home made tomato sauce take the tomatoes and remove their seeds. Take a little oil in a pan and add chopped garlic to it. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 15 mins till it thickens. Meanwhile stir to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  4. Add Italian seasoning and chilly flakes. Lastly add little pepper powder.
  5. After the pasta is cooked with the sauce add a little parmesan cheese.Cheese quantity is upto your own preference.
  6. Take out a small amount of vegetables before adding pasta for later use on the sizzler plate.
  7. To assemble: Heat the sizzler plate and place add some sautéed vegetables and one other side add pasta.Add hot butter mixed oil on the top.
