A very healthy and tasty version of cookies. Easy to prepare and easily digestible. The addition of red chilli flakes gives a unique taste to the cookies.

JOWAR/SORGHUM AND CHILLI FLAKES BISCUITS

Ingredients to make JOWAR/SORGHUM AND CHILLI FLAKES BISCUITS

  • Jowar / sorghum flour - 1 cup
  • sugar powder - 1/4 cup
  • salt - 1 teaspoon or as per taste.
  • Vanaspati/Vegetable ghee - 1/2 cup
  • red chilly flakes - 2 tablespoons
  • cumins sweds ( Crushed ) - 1 tablespoon

How to make JOWAR/SORGHUM AND CHILLI FLAKES BISCUITS

  1. ARRANGE THE INGREDIENTS.
  2. TRANSFER 1 CUP OF JOWAR/SORGHUM FLOUR MIXED WITH 1/4 CUP OF SUGAR POWDER INTO A BOWL. ADD 1 TEASPOON OF SALT TO IT.
  3. ADD RED CHILI FLAKES AND CRUSHED CUMIN SEEDS TO IT.
  4. POUR 1/2 CUP OF LUKE WARM VANASPATI/VEGETABLE GHEE TO IT.
  5. MIX WELL TO FORM A COOKIE DOUGH.
  6. TAKE SOME DOUGH.FLATTEN IT AND CUT IT INTO DESIRED SHAPES.
