Ingredients to make Vegetable dhokla

  • 3 cups sooji
  • 2 teaspoon rice flour
  • 2 teaspoon curd
  • 1 cup chopped boiled carrot
  • 1 cup boiled corn
  • 1 cup boiled green peas
  • 1 teaspoon garlic chilli paste
  • 1 teaspoon fruit salt
  • salt to taste
  • for tempting
  • 1 Teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds

How to make Vegetable dhokla

  1. Take sooji, rice flour and curd in mixture jar add water if needed, grind it in smooth batter.Keep it 30 minutes.
  2. Now take batter in pot or bowl ,add garlic chilli paste,boiled corn ,boiled Carrot,and boiled green peas.Mix well.
  3. Take dhokla pot on medium heat, add water and preheat on medium heat it.
  4. Then add salt to taste in batter add fruit salt also .Sprinkle water little and mix well.
  5. Grease dhokla plate and idli stand both with little oil, pour dhokla batter in it and place plate in dhokla stand.
  6. Cover with lid.and steam for 10-12 minutes. When toothpick comes out clear while checking it.It's done.Keep it aside.
  7. For tempering Take kadai on medium heat, add oil add mustard seeds in it, when it crackles add white sesame seeds and saute for minute.
  8. Pour this tempering on round (idli dhokla) and cut into heart shape with Cutlet maker, cut into other shapes too and serve it .
