Potato and spinach cooked together in a tomato onion gravy is tasty and goes well with white rice or Paratha.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  2. 1/2 tsp salt
  3. 4/5 tsp olive oil
  4. 4-5 potatoes cut into small pieces
  5. 2 cups spinach chopped
  6. 2 tomatoes chopped into pieces
  7. 1 medium onion chopped
  8. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1 tsp cumin powder
  10. 1 tsp coriander powder
  11. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  12. 1 tsp garlic paste
  13. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  14. 1 green chilly

Instructions

  1. Take olive oil in a flat pan,add cumin seeds and salt.Add the onions and fry till it becomes golden brown.
  2. Add garlic paste,fry till the raw smell goes away.Add the potatoes and fry it for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes,fry it .
  4. Add the chopped spinach turmeric,cumin ,coriander,red chilly powder and mix it well.
  5. Add 1/4 cup water,cook for 2-3 minutes.Till the gravy becomes thick.
  6. Add Garam Masala powder.Garnish with green chilly.Serve hot with white rice or Paratha.
