Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Onion – 2 nos (big)
  2. Tomato – 4 nos (medium sized)
  3. Garlic – 4 to 5 pods
  4. Dry red chillies – 3 to 4.
  5. Curry leaves – a sprig.
  6. Coriander leaves – a bunch.
  7. Gingelly oil – 2 tsp.
  8. Roasted channa dal / pottu kadalai – 1 tsp
  9. Salt – to taste.

Instructions

  1. Chop onions , garlic and tomatoes roughly .
  2. In a kadai add oil followed by dry red chillies when chillies start roasting add onions and garlic and fry till onions turns its colour .
  3. Now add curry leaves and tomatoes and fry till tomatoes become mushy.
  4. Switch off the heat and add Roasted channa dal .
