Ingredients to make Ram ladoo

  • Yellow lentil ( Dhuli moong dal) - 1 cup
  • chana dal-1/4 cup
  • salt according to taste
  • Green chilli -3-4
  • ginger- small piece (grated)
  • coriander leaves- 1 tbsp
  • oil for frying
  • For garnishing-1 radiah grated
  • tamarind chutney
  • Green spicy chutney

How to make Ram ladoo

  1. Wash and clean the channa or moong dal and soak them for 5-6 hours in the water.
  2. Strain the water from the dal and grind it with grean chilii, without adding water to it ...grind it coarsely.
  3. Take out the ground dal in a bowl and add salt to it with ginger and coriander leaves. Mix the ingredients well and Whisk the batter till it light anf fluffy.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai .Pickup a small portion of the dal mixture and pour it into the pan to fry giving it a round shape. fry on a medium flame.
  5. Take out and arrange them in serving plate.coverd them with imli chutney, green chutney & grated radish

Serve hot
