ABOUT Orange Mousse RECIPE

It's a foam dessert, the setting agent used is gelatin. It has a wobbly texture and easily melts in your mouth.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 100ml
  2. Egg yolk 1nos.
  3. Sugar 25g
  4. Gelatin 6g
  5. Fresh cream 25ml
  6. Vanilla essence 3ml
  7. Orange crush 25ml
  8. Orange colour 2drops


  1. measure all the ingredients as per the recipe.
  2. mix gelatin with hot water and leave it aside for blooming.
  3. mix the powdered sugar and egg yolk in her separate container.
  4. heat the above mixture in a double boiler and add milk little by little.
  5. keep heating in the double boiler till coating consistency.
  6. now remove it from the flame and add gelatin and mix well and then add fresh cream, vanilla essence, Orange crush and Orange colour and again mix well.
  7. now pour the batter into the desired mould and refrigerate it.
  8. refrigeration time will vary so refrigerate it till your mousse set's completely.
  9. finally plate it and serve cool.
