Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 3 tometo
  2. 1 onion
  3. 3 tbsp fresh coconut shrreding
  4. Small piece of jeggery
  5. 1 tsp grated ginger
  6. 7 to 8 curryleaves
  7. 1 tsp jeera
  8. 1 tsp coriander seeds
  9. Pinch of asfotedia
  10. 3 tbsp oil
  11. 1 or 2 red chilly
  12. 1 tsp kashmiri red chilly powder
  13. 1/2 tsp spicy red chilly powder
  14. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  15. 1 tsp salt
  16. 1/2 tsp corriender cumin powder
  17. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

Instructions

  1. Cut tomatoes in half and boil till three whistles. Peel the skin of tomatoes and make paste in mixer grinder.
  2. Chop onion thinly. Now in wok add oil, cumin, coriander seeds and red chilly and asfotedia. After adding coriander seeds immediately in 2- 3 seconds add curry leaves and onion. Don't burn corriender seeds.
  3. Cook onion till golden in colour. Now add jeggery,ginger paste and shredded coconut.
  4. Now add all masala and cook it for 2 -3 minutes.
  5. Add tometo puree and some water in it. And after boiling cook another 10 minutes. Add corriender leave for garnishing.
