This is my innovative sweet dish using amaranth seeds which are known as chaulai or rajgira with fruity shrikhand

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rajgira 200 gram
  2. Jaggery 250 gram
  3. Curd 400 gram
  4. Apple 1 piece
  5. Orange 1 piece
  6. Fig 1 piece
  7. Sugar 3 tablespoons
  8. Oil to grease the plate


  1. Hung the curd to remove extra water
  2. Add sugar
  3. Mix well
  4. Add finely chopped fruits
  5. Keep in refrigerator to chill
  6. Meanwhile dry roast the rajgira to pop up
  7. Add melted jaggery in it
  8. Mix well
  9. Grease a round plate
  10. Spread rajgira mixture in it
  11. Let it set down and cool down
  12. Spread chilled fruity shrikhand on it
  13. Serve immediately
