Moong are added to Bajra and Rice flour dhebra to enhence the Protein Value.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bajra flour 1 cup
  2. Rice flour 1/2 cup
  3. Moong soaked overnight 1/2 cup
  4. Fresh green garlic crushed 2 tbsp/ garlic cloves 5 to 6
  5. Ginger grated /crushed 1 tbsp
  6. Ajwain 1 tsp
  7. Sesame seeds 1 tsp
  8. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  10. Red chill powder / green chilli crushed to tadte
  11. Curd 2 tsp
  12. Jaggery grated 1 tbsp
  13. Coriander leaves chopped fine 2 tbsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Oil 2 tbsp
  16. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Mix Jaggery with curd and keep aside.
  2. Coarse grind Moong.
  3. Mix flours in a bowl.
  4. Add moong. Add garlic.
  5. Mix and add ginger, Ajwain
  6. Add Sesame seeds, turmeric, Salt.
  7. Add Chilly crushed , Coriander powder.
  8. Now add Curd jaggery mixture.
  9. Add salt and 2 tbsp oil.
  10. Mix and check the taste.
  11. Add Coriander leaves.
  12. Add water just required to make dough. It should be little firm than roti dough.
  13. Cover and keep aside.
  14. Heat non stick griddle.
  15. Take a ball from dough.
  16. Roll softly with help of two plastic sheets.
  17. Roast on heated griddle.
  18. Flip and spread a tsp of oil.
  19. Roast both the sides by applying oil.
  20. Serve with a cup of tea./ Coffee.
  21. You can make thinner if you want to eat immediately.
  22. And if you want to carry in tingin roll little thick.
