About Easy Pan seared chicken Recipe

Easy Pan-Seared Chicken is prepared right in the skillet with a crunchy crust and lots of flavor from Italian seasoning. It’s an excellent way too cook boneless and skinless chicken when you are short on time, because this chicken turns out excellent every single time!

Easy Pan seared chicken

Ingredients to make Easy Pan seared chicken

  • Boneless chicken slice 250 grm
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese 2tbsp
  • Bread crumb 1 cup
  • egg 1
  • olive oil 2tsp
  • Mixed herb 1tsp

How to make Easy Pan seared chicken

  1. Pound the chicken breasts with a meat mallet or a rolling pin, to tenderize the meat and ensure uniform thickness.
  2. Sprinkle salt, pepper & mixed herb on both sides of the chicken and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Brush beaten egg over chicken slices and cover with bread crumbs.
  4. Heat a skillet over med-high heat, and add olive oil.
  5. When pan is sufficiently heated, sear chicken breasts over high heat.
  6. Allow about 2 minutes (until lightly browned) before turning to other side.
  7. Before serving, sprinkle grated cheese on chicken and broil for approx 5-10 mins (until cheese is melted).

My Tip:

Serve this over pasta or with fried rice. Personally I love this with poached egg and salad.
