ABOUT Caramel Shakkarpara RECIPE

Instead of sugar syrup use the amazing Hershey's Caramel syrup and you have the most tasty shakkarparas

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  2. Pure ghee 2 tbsp
  3. A pint of salt
  4. Hershey's Caramel syrup 5 to 6 tbsp
  5. Pure ghee for frying


  1. Take the flour, add the salt and the ghee
  2. Rub the ghee in the flour mix till crumbly
  3. Add the Hershey's Caramel syrup to form a stiff dough.
  4. Please remeber there is no water or milk added so make sure to add as much needed
  5. Let the dough rest for 15 mins
  6. Roll the dough into 1/4 inch thickness and cut them into desired shapes
  7. Fry the shakkarparas in medium hot ghee till golden brown on both sides
  8. Enjoy
