About Mixed curry Recipe

It is a mixture of dal, vegs and chicken.

Mixed curry

Ingredients to make Mixed curry

  • 1 cup French beans finely chopped
  • 1 cup carrots finely chopped
  • 1 cup soaked moong dal
  • 1 cup diced boiled chicken
  • 1 cup cubed potato
  • 1 cup cabbage chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes chopped
  • Handful coriander leaves chopped
  • Few leaves of curry patta
  • One medium onion chopped
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Mixed curry

  1. Heat oil in pan. Sauté onions till translucent. Add jeera.
  2. Now add chopped tomatoes. Cook till tender.
  3. Add vegs alongwith chilli powder, haldi, dhania jeera powder.
  4. Cook till all vegs are half cooked now at this stage add soaked moong dal. Some water n cook till done. Adjust salt.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with roti or rice.

My Tip:

Take care not to over cook moong dal or else curry will become lumpy. Add water as required only.
