ABOUT Tuna melt RECIPE

Open sandwich with tuna and cheese. Perfect for a brunch and a favourite of children.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tuna fish in oil- 100 grams tin
  2. Green chillies 3
  3. 1 large onion
  4. 4 slices of Cheese
  5. Salt and pepper to taste
  6. 6-8 slices of bread
  7. 3 cloves of garlic

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion and chillies finely and keep aside.
  2. Dice the cloves of garlic into small bits.
  3. Open the can of tuna and separate the olive oil and tuna.
  4. Break the tuna into small flakes.
  5. Fry garlic in olive oil till brown.
  6. Add onions and chilli, saute till golden.
  7. Add the tuna and fry.
  8. Add salt to taste and pepper.
  9. Put the bread to toast in OTG and toast for 5 mins.
  10. Take it out..spread the tuna and put a slice of cheese on top.
  11. Toast again till cheese melts...use only the grill setting.
  12. Serve hot.
