ABOUT Chocolaty Lachha RECIPE

This is so delicious dessert in kid's birthday party. Kids enjoy the superb chocolaty taste.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Lachha semaiyan -1cup
  2. Milk -1/2liter
  3. Chocolate powder-1 1/4tbsp
  4. Chocolate chips- 1/4 cup
  5. Sugar - 5-6 tbsp
  6. Salt (a pinch of is added to adjust the sweetness)
  7. Ghee -1 tbsp
  8. Chopped almond-1 tbsp
  9. Chopped pistachios -1 tbsp
  10. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tbsp
  11. Water -1 cup

Instructions

  1. Roast the lachha semaiyan in ghee on a pan till golden brown.
  2. Then add the water in it with the salt and boil it for sometime till all the water disappear.
  3. Add the milk in it along with the chocolate powder and choco chips in it.
  4. While it becomes somewhat thick in volume then add sugar and cardamom powder in it and mix well.
  5. Cook it for another 2 minutes and then switch off the flame.
  6. Cool it for sometime to room temperature.
  7. Garnish with some chopped almonds and pistachios.
  8. Serve it or refrigerate it for sometime and then serve.
