ABOUT Masala Penne Pasta RECIPE

A tasty fusion with pasta giving a very Indian type of flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Penne Pasta 200 gms packet, I have used Bambino Penne..
  2. 2 Cubed Onions medium size
  3. 1 cubed green Capsicum
  4. 2 chopped tomatoes
  5. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Red chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
  7. Rock salt to taste
  8. 1/2 tsp jeera
  9. Salt for boiling pasta
  10. 4 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Take a vessel, add around 1 litre water salt and 2 tsp of oil and boil it.
  2. Add the penne pasta and boil them.
  3. Drain and wash under cold water .
  4. In a wok add oil add jeera and add onions and capsicum and saute well.
  5. Add tomatoes and saute till tomatoes are soft.
  6. Add chilli powder, chilli flakes and mix well.
  7. Add the penne to the masala, add rock salt and mix well.
  8. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately.
