Our very own Indian shahi tukda in a new fusion form of french toast ,served with rabri and strawberry compote. Flavourful and delicious in each bite.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. for French toast
  2. 4 bread slices
  3. 1/2 cup sugar syrup
  4. 1/2 cup milk
  5. ghee, as required
  6. for rabri
  7. 400 ml milk
  8. 1/4 Cup sugar
  9. few saffron strands
  10. For strawberry compote
  11. 1/2 cup strawberry
  12. 2 tsp sugar
  13. 1 tsp water
  14. Pistachios for garnish


  1. Add milk, Saffron strands and sugar to a thick bottom pan.
  2. Stir it well on low or medium flame till get a rabri .
  3. Add strawberry ,water and sugar in a pan.
  4. Stir on a low flame till strawberries are soft and the mixture is little thick.
  5. Cut the bread slices with a Cookie Cutter into round shapes.
  6. Heat ghee in a non stick flat pan.
  7. Dip the bread slices in sugar syrup and then milk and then fry in the ghee till brown on both sides.
  8. To serve, lay the bread slices on a plate,add rabri and then strawberry compote.
  9. Garnish with pistachios and serve.
