About Green peas vada Recipe

Easy to make. A crispy evening snack to munch on!!!

Green peas vada

Ingredients to make Green peas vada

  • Green peas - 1 cup
  • Finely chopped onion - 2
  • Garam masala- 1 tsp
  • green chillies - 2
  • coriander leaves - a handful
  • ginger grated - a small piece
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Green peas vada

  1. soak green peas for 3 hours
  2. drain the water and keep aside
  3. Take a mixer grinder. Mince green chillies and coriander leaves. Now add salt and drain ed green peas and bring coarsely.
  4. transfer it to a bowl. Add chopped onion and grated ginger and mix well. Add garam Masala too. Do not add water at any stage.
  5. heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the vadas in oil till crisp.
  6. Serve hot with coffee or tea.

My Tip:

In case the mixture becomes very watery, you can add bean or gram flour to adjust the consistency.
