About Vegetarian Bolognese Spaghetti Recipe

Bolognaese spaghetti sauce is prepared with minced meat. I have prepared the sauce by putting soya granules instead of meat in this recipe.

Vegetarian Bolognese Spaghetti

Ingredients to make Vegetarian Bolognese Spaghetti

  • olive oil 1 1/2 Tbsp
  • Minced garlic 2 Tablespoons
  • onion chopped 1 medium sized
  • Soya Granules 1/2 Cup
  • tomato chopped 4 medium sized
  • tomato puree 2 large spoons
  • carrot chopped 1medium sized
  • sugar 2-3 Tbs
  • Basil leaves 2 Tbsp
  • Dry thyme 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper powder As per taste
  • salt to taste
  • Spaghetti 400gm
  • Parmen cheese 2 Tbsp

How to make Vegetarian Bolognese Spaghetti

  1. Add water to a pan and boil.
  2. Add spaghetti pasta,1 Tsp olive oil and 1/2 Tsp salt to boiled water.
  3. Cook it for about 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes,drain out spaghetti and take it out of cold water.
  5. Put 1 Tsp of Olive oil on spaghetti and mix well.
  6. Soak soya granules in hot water for 10 -15 minutes.
  7. After 15 minutes, filter soya granules and squeeze all the water.
  8. Heat oil over medium flame in a pan.
  9. Cook till the onion turns golden.
  10. Put chopped carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  11. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes or until tomatoes are cooked.
  12. Add tomato puree and mix well.
  13. Mix boiled soya granules, basil, thyme, salt, pepper powder and mix well.
  14. Place cooked spaghetti in a serving plate.
  15. Put the prepared sauce on Spaghetti.
  16. Serve with the parmesan cheese and basil leaves.

My Tip:

Before cooking Spaghetti, read the instructions on the packet.
