ABOUT Saibhaji croquettes RECIPE

Saibhaji is a very popular and tasty sindhi dish. I have used it to make croquettes which have turned out very tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 cup saibhaji
  2. 3 medium boiled potatoes
  3. 1/4 Cup cheese
  4. 3/4 Cup bread crumbs
  5. salt to taste
  6. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  7. 2 tsp all purpose flour
  8. water as required
  9. bread crumbs as required
  10. oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Grate potatoes and cheese in a bowl.
  2. Add Sai Bhaji and 3/4 cup bread crumbs and mix well.
  3. Add salt and garam masala powder and mix well.
  4. Make oval shaped croquettes and keep in fridge for half an hour.
  5. Make a slurry by adding little water to all purpose flour.
  6. Dip the croquettes in all purpose flour slurry and then coar with bread crumbs.
  7. Fry on medium flame till golden brown on all sides.
  8. Serve with tomato sauce or your favourite dip.
