ABOUT Fish croquettes RECIPE

Used a soft boneless fish called ghol,though any boneless fish can be used for these croquettes .Some boiled potato mash,cheeze , green chilli,corriander and salt pepper added to mash .These croquettes are savoury ,can be served as appetizers or into frankie form in rotis with sauces added for a complete meal.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 5-6 pieces boneless ghol fish
  2. 2-3medium boiled potatoes
  3. 1tspn gingee garlic paste
  4. 1 -2 green chillies chopped
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1/2 tspn turmeric powder
  7. 1 cup bread crumbs
  8. 1tspn pepper
  9. 1/4th tblspn lime juice
  10. 1/2 tspn garam masala
  11. Oil to shallow or deep fry
  12. Option to coat in egg wash and fry too
  13. 1 -2 cubes Cheese adding optional too

Instructions

  1. Wash clean boil fish pieces with ginger garlic paste 1tspn,turmeric and salt for 5-10 minutes
  2. Now strain cool these dry
  3. Take boil potatoes peel mash
  4. Add this potato mash to fish pieces
  5. Add the dry spices now and make a mix mash well
  6. Now grease hand with oil,make croquettes oblong in shape
  7. Roll these in bread crumbs
  8. Keep to set in fridge for min 15 to half hour before frying
  9. Heat oil enough to dip fry well and add these in hot oil
  10. Fry golden brown and remove
  11. Serve hot with any favourite sauces with lime pieces to squeeze
