Ingredients to make Roast fish

  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • lemon 1/2
  • salt to taste
  • Fish masala powder or any garam masala powder depending upon fish size
  • Fish - 1 (Cut in pieces)

How to make Roast fish

  1. Wash and clean the fish.
  2. Add the turmeric, salt and rub all over squeezing the lemon into it.
  3. Let it marinate for a 30 to 45 minutes maximum.
  4. Add in the fish masala and keep for a few more minutes.
  5. Heat a shallow pan for frying the fish.
  6. Add some oil to the pan so that the fish would sink in till half way.
  7. When the oil is hot add 2 to 3 fish pieces at a time. Roast it on high flame on both the sides
  8. Remove on a kitchen tissue. Serve hot with dal, rice and rasam

My Tip:

You can use whole fish for this recipe rather than pieces.
