Spicy Fish Broast..

Ingredients to make Spicy Fish Broast..

  • Boneless fish or basa fish fillets 1 kg.
  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • chilli garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • chilli flakes 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • vinegar 1 tbsp or lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • cornflour 1/2 cup
  • Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Plain flour 1/2 cup
  • Cornflakes 1/2 cup

How to make Spicy Fish Broast..

  1. Make deep slits in the fish pieces.
  2. Make two separate mixes now.
  3. First mix is that of ketchup, chilli garlic sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and chilli flakes.
  4. Second mix is that of cornflour, plain flour, baking powder and crushed cornflakes. Mix it up well with a whisk or spoon to make the dry mix lighter. This makes the outer covering crispy.
  5. Now dip the fish pieces one by one first in the ketchup mix and then in the dry flours mix and arrange on a plate. Keep them refrigerated for 15 mins before finally deep frying them on medium flame.
  6. Serve the fish broast hot with fries, garlic dip and ketchup.

My Tip:

You can increase or decrease the amount of spiciness if you prefer but trust me it is not very spicy, because it has tangy flavour too.
