Ingredients to make Keralan fish roast

  • King Fish Steaks( Any Fish fillets)- 4 piece
  • coconut oil-5 tblspn
  • First Marinate:
  • turmeric powder-1 tsp
  • lemon juice-2 tsp
  • salt –1 tsp
  • Second Marinate: red chilli powder-1 tblspn
  • ginger Garlic Paste-1 tblspn
  • coriander powder-1 tblspn
  • pepper-1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice-2 tblspn

How to make Keralan fish roast

  1. Take the fish fillets and marinate it with salt,turmeric and lemon juice.
  2. In a mixing bowl mix chilli powder,coriander powder,ginger garlic paste,pepper,salt and lemon juice together and form a thick paste..If it is too thick you can add a little water to this..
  3. Now apply this paste to the marinating fish fillets and let it rest for 30 min.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a tawa and fry the fish on both sides till golden and completely cooked through.
  5. Garnish it with onion rings and lemon .. Serve with rice..
