About Mint dhokla with mexican salsa topping Recipe

Today I am presenting my innovative dish which I make with dhokla ..i make mint dhokla and topped them with mexican salsa.

Ingredients to make Mint dhokla with mexican salsa topping

  • 1 cup idli dosa battar
  • 2 tbsp mint paste
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 eno sachet
  • 2 drops of green colour
  • For Topping---
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp choppped tomato
  • 1 tbsp chopped mix bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp boiled corn
  • 1 tbsp chopped cucumber
  • 1 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • coriander leaves
  • oil for shallow fry dhokla

How to make Mint dhokla with mexican salsa topping

  1. Take battar and add curd in it
  2. Add salt and mint paste
  3. Add green colour and mix all of them
  4. Then add baking soda
  5. Lastly add eno and 1 tsp water to activate it
  6. Mix all of them
  7. Grease dhokla tray
  8. Pour battar for thin layer we will make thin dhokla from regular dhokla
  9. Cook them in steamer for 10 to 15 min.
  10. Till then chop all vegetables
  11. Add spices,sauces and flakes
  12. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves
  13. As dhokla ready let them cool
  14. We Will make them in this thickness
  15. Then carefully de mould them in a plate
  16. Take small round cookie cutter and cut them in small rounds
  17. Heat rawa add oil or butter
  18. And on low flame cook dhokla till crispy
  19. Top with prepared salsa and serve
  20. Enjoy these yummy tangy dhoklas

My Tip:

Colour is optional.i add for beautiful colour
