ABOUT Methi dalia flax seeds muthiya donuts RECIPE

Muthiya is a popular breakfast dish of gujrat .I make fusion of it.I use dalia, oats and methi with other ingredents and make it in donut shape.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup dalia
  2. 1/2 cup oats
  3. 1 tbsp flax seeds powder
  4. 1/2 cup methi leaves
  5. 1/4 cup jowar aata
  6. 1 tsp ginger paste
  7. 1 chopped green chilli
  8. 1 tsp sugar
  9. salt as per taste
  10. Pinch of hing
  11. 1/4 tsp haldi
  12. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  13. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  14. 1 tbsp curd
  15. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  16. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  17. 1 tbsp oil
  18. For tadka-
  19. 1 tbsp oil
  20. 1 tbsp mustard seefs
  21. Pinch of hing
  22. 10 curry leaves
  23. 4 Green chilli
  24. 1 tbsp white seasme seeds
  25. 1 tsp lemon juice
  26. 1/4 tsp haldi
  27. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  28. coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Add Dalia in mixi and grind coarsly
  2. Make powder of oats and flax seeds
  3. Take them in a bowl and mix
  4. Add salt,haldi,red chilli powder
  5. Add ginger paste an geen chilli
  6. Add curd and other ingredints
  7. Wash methi leaves and chop
  8. Mix them in mixture
  9. And add oil,sugar,baking soda
  10. Make a dough with required water
  11. Devide dough in equal parts
  12. Take oil in palm and take 1 piece give it shape of donut
  13. Prepare all muthia donuts
  14. Grease a tray and cook all muthiya donuts in steamer for 15-20 min.
  15. Let them cook till then make tadka with given ingredients
  16. Add haldi,red chilli powder and muthiya in tadka
  17. And fry them lightly
  18. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves
  19. Sprinkle sesame seeds
  20. Serve this healthy,tasty and innovative muthia and enjoy
