Chicken Badami Tikka

Ingredients to make Chicken Badami Tikka

  • chicken 500 gms
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • green chilly paste 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • red chilly powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Hung curd 1 cup
  • Roasted and crushed almonds 4 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • butter 3 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • lime Juice 1 tsp
  • Processed cheese 2 tbsp

How to make Chicken Badami Tikka

  1. Take all the ingredients together in a large bowl except butter and cheese. Mix well.
  2. Add chicken pieces and coat it nicely with the masala.
  3. Add in the cheese and half of the butter. Marinate for at least an hour.
  4. Preheat the oven and then cook this chicken on a microwave / grill option for 15 - 20 minutes.
  5. At the time of serving grill the chicken pieces for about 10 minutes to make it a little crispy. From this point, add the remaining butter.
  6. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Use hung curd only so that there's no water in marination. The marination time can be extended às time permits. More the time of marination better is the taste.
