ABOUT Papadi Pizza RECIPE

The Popular Pizza in its New Avatar – the Papdi base adds a unique crunch. Italian Papadi Pizza Chaat is a desi-Italian fusion delight. Chaat papadis are topped with cheese, veggies and baked with a sprinkling of chaat masala for just 30 seconds. This pizza chaat with bubbly cheese is a great party snack that is sure to please your guests.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 10 Papadi
  2. Amul Cheese Slices/ Mozarella Cheese (Any)
  3. Pizza Sauce
  4. 2 Small Onion cut into round slices
  5. 2 Small Potatoes (Boiled) cut into round slices
  6. Capsicum cut into round slices
  7. 2 Small Tomatoes cut into round slices
  8. Nylon Sev for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Spread papadi pieces on a table.
  2. Cut mozzarella cheese slices and shape them into roundels with the help of a cookie cutter. Keep aside trimmings, to be grated later.
  3. Put ¼ tbsp pizza sauce on each papadi. Put the round cheese slice on top.
  4. Then layer with potato and Onion slices, capsicum and tomato slices. Sprinkle some chaat masala in between every layer.
  5. Grate some cheese on top and bake untill the cheese is completely melted (preheated @ 200* C). You can also use Tawa Method and cover with a lid.
  6. Once the cheese is completely melted, remove the papadi and garnish with sev.
  7. Serve it immediately to enjoy it crisp.
